Re: How long to wait to visit ER when you have no stoma outp

Is it an immediate threat to life? Is it an emergency?

No output isn't urgent, A&E is packed to the limit as it is with none GP attenders.

Unless you are about to rupture contact your nurse, if they say go to A&E they are passing the buck. Very common with GPs who are about to finish for the day.

Re: Double Infliximab

The only thing that made any improvement was mercaptopurine at high levels but it supressede my immune system so much I ended up with pneumonia from a cough because I couldn't fight it off! Needless to say I came off high doses and the symptoms returned.

Re: I am sooooo tired!?

It goes with the condition I'm afraid. I carried on like that for years pushing myself and pushing myself to the point where I had nothing left to heal after surgery.

Nobody understands just how knackered you feel, no amount of sleep will help, it changes only on how active your disease is.

Re: Why Is There No Thread For Success Stories?

Thats just not exciting enough!

Seriously, good idea but when people are well they frequent sites like this less as they are not searching for answers or solutions, they are lucky enough to be able to get on with their lives!

Re: [POLL] Average age of sufferers (part 2)

Would be interesting to see current age against age when diagnosed/first symptoms sort of thing.
