I know I'm one of the lucky ones as I've been in remission for three years now, but I've just got back the results of my umpteenth blood test showing a low red blood count, low protein, and pretty low iron levels considering the fact I've had two half-hour stints on a drip over the last three months. I've just moved and don't have a gastroenterologist yet, so I'm trying to piece the puzzle together myself. Has anyone had a similar experience and found an effective way of fighting malabsorption and anaemia? Any advice much appreciated.
