Purple Wings

Post by rogalin47 » Sun Jan 22, 2017 9:13 pm

Purple Wings is a charity supporting those who have had their colon removed because of uc and are now living with an ileostomy. In March of this year they are holding a calendar photo shoot to raise funds and awareness about both this debilitating condition and life with a stoma. Super poster and fount of all the best knowledge on here Karencraig, who I'm proud to know and call a friend and I have both signed up for this project despite us both having a morbid fear of facing the camera.....we would normally choose to run for the hills than be photographed.....especially in our undies!!

Details are below should anyone be interested

No chance here rogalin, last time the camera broke and when I smiled my face cracked. I'm afraid this 70 year old body isn't even worth looking at when fully clothed, and my face is that lined when I fell asleep in a Motorway Services someone traced their route to Portsmouth using my face. I wish you well and I'm sure you girls will make everyone else envious with your goddess like looks and body. Phil

Hi rogalin, I have just had a letter cancelling my appointment next month with the surgeon to see about this new hernia, they said I will get another appointment in the future! Phil

Bugger! Thats a shame Phil, I hope its rebooked in the not too distant future and not the far off future. Im waiting for shoulder surgery, I was expecting it to be done in autumn of last year, it now looks as though it won't be before the end of March at the earliest. Nothing we can do about appointment changes other than keep soldiering on.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.......laughing fit to burst here Phil

If you think my photos are going to be x-rated youre sadly deluded! At almost 50 years old I'm going for tasteful and as covered up as possible. Believe me, no-one wants to see my wobbly bits, I'm likely to be harpooned and have a whale warning issued!!!!!

People in work are sponsoring me NOT to see the photos, at over 50 and totally unphotogenic. Just bought my underwear for the shoot! :D
Any news on next appointment Phil?
